![Tikona Broadband]()
Tikona Broadband is one of the well-known internet service providers (ISPs) in India. It offers broadband internet services in over 25 major cities of the country including Raipur, Agra, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, and more. The company offers standard plans to users across different cities. If you are planning on purchasing a broadband connection from
Tikona, understand that there is a huge subscription charge that is non-refundable that you will have to pay to the company.
Tikona Broadband Subscription Charges for Different Plans
First of all, it is worth noting that the company offers multiple 30 Mbps, 40 Mbps, 60 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 150 Mbps, and 200 Mbps speed internet broadband plans in different cities of the country. We will just look at two plans for now – the 30 Mbps plan which costs Rs 399 per month while the 40 Mbps plan which costs Rs 499 per month.
This is mostly in line with the pricing that the company’s competitors have. Hoverer, there’s an additional ‘subscription charge’ that users have to pay when they purchase a connection with a new plan.
Note that this is not even the
installation charge if you are thinking of it. So just to understand this more clearly, if you purchase the base 30 Mbps plan from the company for 3 months, you will have to pay Rs 399 for each month, then on top an installation charge of Rs 500 and a subscription charge of Rs 2002 if it is a new connection.
It is not just the base or entry-level plans, but all of the plans from the company come with subscription charges which is quite strange. In fact, with the higher-end broadband plans from the company, the subscription charges keep rising. It is like if you want to purchase the company’s services, you will have to pay separately just for subscribing. Looking at this, it is better to go for broadband plans from major ISPs such as Airtel Xstream Fiber, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), JioFiber, Excitel, ACT, and more.
